BondNow 1.6.0 is here, and it’s focused on one thing: making the everyday moments a quick photo, a reminder, a call that just connects feel a little easier and a little warmer. Here’s everything new, in plain language.

  • A friendlier first-look tour for new sign-ups, and quick highlights whenever a new feature ships
  • Add several photos or videos at once, with a live progress bar
  • Favorite the memories you never want to lose, delete the ones you don’t, and room for 40 memories from the last 7 days (up from 20)
  • Forgotten your username? Recover it right from the login screen
  • Auto-answer is now a clear, adjustable setting in Group Settings

New: Audio Reminders and Instant Audio Messages

This is one we’re especially glad to introduce: Audio Reminders and Instant Audio Messages, brand new to BondNow in this release.

Recording your own voice takes the same amount of effort as typing a text, but it means so much more to hear “you” instead of reading words on a screen. With Instant Audio Message, tap, talk, and it plays right away on your loved one’s handsfree device. With Audio Reminders, record a message once a medication, an appointment, a simple hello set a date and time (or make it repeat), and it plays automatically, gentle chime first, then your own voice.

On the handsfree device, both arrive as a big, friendly alert card with your name and photo, so it’s always unmistakably from someone they know.

If you’ve used BondNow before: this is entirely new there’s nothing to change or set up differently, just a new way to stay close that wasn’t there before.

A friendlier way to discover BondNow

BondNow Group Hub screen, one of the screens shown in the new in-app guided tour

New to BondNow? You’ll now get a short, skippable tour the first time you sign in, walking through what the app can do. And you won’t be left behind after that first tour, either whenever we add something new, you’ll see a quick highlight the next time you open the app, instead of having to go looking for it.

If you’ve used BondNow before: you won’t be shown the full tour again only a short highlight for whatever’s genuinely new. Nothing about how you already use the app changes.

Upload several memories at once

BondNow Memories screen showing the new favorite star and delete icons, plus the Add Memory button

Sharing a batch of holiday photos used to mean adding them one at a time, with no sense of whether an upload was working. Now you can select several photos or videos in one go from “Add Memory,” and watch each one upload with its own progress bar, so you always know what’s landed.

If you’ve used BondNow before: you can still add memories exactly as before this just adds a faster option alongside it. Nothing is removed.

Favorite, delete, and more room for memories

Your shared memory library keeps your most recent photos and videos from the last 7 days, with the oldest quietly making way for new ones as that rolls forward. Two changes here:

  • Favorite a memory tap the star, and it’s protected from ever being automatically removed.
  • Delete a memory tap the trash icon on anything you’d rather not keep. This updates on the handsfree device too.

And we’ve made more room: up to 40 memories from the last 7 days, up from 20.

If you’ve used BondNow before: no action needed you simply have more room, and the option to protect what matters most. Anything you’d already shared is unaffected.

Forgot your username? We’ve got you covered

Until now, the login screen could only help you recover a forgotten password a forgotten username left you stuck. Tap “Forgot username or password?” and choose either one. Enter the email or phone number on your account, and if it matches, we’ll send your username straight to you.

If you’ve used BondNow before: your existing sign-in still works exactly as it did this is purely a new safety net for the moments memory doesn’t cooperate.

Auto-answer, now a setting you can actually see

BondNow Manage Group screen showing the new Auto-answer toggle in Group Settings

Calls to a handsfree device have always been designed to answer automatically, so your loved one never has to fumble for a button. That behavior is now a clear, visible toggle in Manage Group → Group Settings on by default, so calls auto-answer within 10 seconds. Turn it off, and an incoming call will simply ring on the handsfree device for 45 seconds; if it isn’t picked up by hand in that time, the caller sees “No Answer.”

If you’ve used BondNow before: nothing changes for you automatically Auto-answer defaults to on, matching how calls already worked. You now simply have the option to turn it off if your family prefers.

For the Family Companion App

  • New: record and send Instant Audio Messages, or schedule Audio Reminders for later
  • A guided first-time tour, plus highlights for whatever’s new in future releases
  • Multi-select photo/video upload with a live progress bar
  • Favorite and delete memories, with room for 40 from the last 7 days instead of 20
  • Recover a forgotten username, not just a forgotten password
  • A visible, adjustable Auto-answer setting in Group Settings

On the Handsfree Device

  • New: Audio Reminders and Instant Audio Messages arrive with a gentle chime and a big, personal alert card showing the sender’s name and photo
  • Calls now follow the family’s Auto-answer setting auto-answering within 10 seconds, or ringing 45 seconds before showing the caller “No Answer”
  • Deleted memories disappear from the handsfree Memories view too, staying in sync with the family app

That’s BondNow 1.6.0. As always, thank you for trusting us to help you stay close to the people who matter most.
