An elderly woman hearing a spoken reminder on her BondNow tablet, alongside a family member scheduling that reminder from their phone

Which of these sounds like you?

Families come to us at very different moments, and what worries you depends entirely on which one you are in. Pick the one closest to your situation.

A parent living alone

She manages perfectly well, but she is on her own now and the phone rings out more often than it used to. You ring twice a day and still do not really know how she is.

Home from hospital

The discharge was quick, a care package has started, and the hours between visits are the ones that keep you awake. None of this was planned.

After a dementia diagnosis

Technology has quietly become impossible, and you are trying to protect the relationship rather than manage a condition.

Moving into a care home

The room is lovely and the staff are kind and you still feel shut out of her ordinary days. Monthly reports are not a relationship.

Family living abroad

Timezones turn every call into an event, and your children are slowly growing up not really knowing their grandmother.

None of these exactly

That is fine. The product is the same whichever door you came through, and the how it works page covers all of it in one place.

A real family, in their own words

The thing every other solution gets wrong

Why the tablet is in a drawer

Everything fails at the point she has to do something

You have tried the phone, the tablet, the video app. Each one works beautifully right up until the moment it needs a button pressed, a screen unlocked, or a password remembered.

That is not her failing. It is a design that assumed dexterity, memory and confidence she may no longer have, several times a day, in front of the people she loves.

What we did instead

We removed the moment entirely

Your name is announced out loud through the device, so she knows who is calling, and the call connects on its own in about ten seconds. If she is out of the room it waits and connects when she comes back.

There is no correct action, so there is no way to get it wrong. That single decision is why BondNow keeps working when everything else stopped.

A day with BondNow

Not an app to open or a password to remember just a day where she never has to feel alone, and you never have to wonder if she's okay.

Morning

She doesn't wake up to an empty room

For her, the day doesn't start in silence there's already company there before she's properly awake. For you, the guilty first-thing check-in call isn't needed; her morning has already begun well, without you.

Through the day

Remembered, without you having to be the one reminding her

For her, it's a gentle voice at the right moment not a call from a worried daughter double-checking she hasn't forgotten again. For you, you're not having to remember everything yourself no notes stuck to her fridge, no keeping track of which medicine is due when.

Evening

You can reach her the moment you think of her

For her, there's no phone to find under a cushion, no rushing to answer before it stops ringing you're just there. For you, you can call whenever she crosses your mind, any time of day, and know it'll actually reach her not ring out again.

She heard her daughter's name. She looked up. The call connected. She pressed nothing.

Questions worth answering properly

Does my loved one need to do anything when I call?

Nothing at all. BondNow answers every incoming call from the circle automatically. No button, no screen to tap, no password. Your name is announced out loud through the device, so they know who is calling, and then the call connects.

Does it need Wi‑Fi, or a phone line?

It works over your loved one's home Wi‑Fi. There is no phone line to plug in, and no separate broadband contract with us. If there is Wi‑Fi in the house, the device connects to it during the one-minute setup and looks after itself from then on.

Can the whole family use it?

Yes, and there is no limit. Everyone downloads the app on their own phone, joins the circle, and can call or share photos independently. It is one subscription however many of you there are.

Does it work with dementia or limited mobility?

Yes. That is exactly who it was designed for. Because nothing has to be pressed, tremor, arthritis, memory loss and limited mobility do not affect whether the call connects.

Is my family's data safe?

Yes. BondNow is registered with the ICO and handles data in line with GDPR. Only the people you invite can call or see what is shared. Nothing is public, ever.

Is this an alarm or a medical device?

No. BondNow is not a monitored alarm service and not a medical device. It does not call 999 and it does not detect falls. Please keep any telecare or pendant alarm you already have.

What if it is not right for us?

You have 60 days from delivery. Email us and we will arrange the return and refund the device in full. The first two months of subscription are free, and you can cancel at any time with no minimum term.

They will see your face. Every time you call.

£250 set-up fee, £14.50 a month with the first two months free, and 60 days to change your mind.
