You ring in the morning and again after work. Sometimes she answers. When she does not, you spend the evening telling yourself it is nothing. BondNow means you can see she has had a good day without having to ask, and without her needing to answer anything.
She might be in the garden. She might not have heard it. You know that, and you still feel your stomach drop, every single time.
You set it up on a visit, showed her twice, and it has been in the sideboard since March. It is not that she cannot manage. It is that it asks too much.
Your brother rings at Christmas. You do the GP, the shopping list, the worrying. There is no version of this where you do less, unless something changes.
The BondNow device sits in her front room with the screen always on. When you call, your name is announced out loud on her device, and ten seconds later you are there. She does not press anything, because there is nothing to press.
You are not ringing to check she is alive. You are ringing because you want to see her. That is a different phone call, and you will feel the difference in the first week.
Nobody wants to be the thing their daughter worries about. When contact costs her nothing and requires nothing, she gets to be your mother again rather than your responsibility.
She does not have to use it. There is nothing to open, unlock or press. Your face appears on her screen, and that is the whole interaction. Everything that failed before failed at the point where she had to do something.
It arrives already configured. Whoever is there when it is delivered sets one password, once, and that takes about a minute. After that nobody touches a setting again. You do the rest from the app on your own phone.
Calls from the family connect automatically, which is the part that solves the missed call problem. We are also adding a way for her to reach the whole circle in one press. That is in development, and we will say so plainly until it ships.
No, and we want to be clear about that. BondNow is not a monitored alarm service and not a medical device. It does not call 999 and it does not detect falls. If she has a pendant alarm or telecare, please keep it.
You have 60 days from delivery. If it is not right, email us and we will arrange the return and refund the device in full. The first two months of subscription are free, so nothing else has been taken.
£250 once, £14.50 a month with the first two months free, and 60 days to change your mind.
